Troopers said a Hyundai Sante Fe, driven by Clement W. Dumas, 62, failed to maintain the outside lane and entered the paved shoulder where the bicyclist was traveling.

Stephen Xavier Alimonda, 52, of Palm Harbor, was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with critical injuries.
