Haines City Police Department and Haines City Fire Department are investigating a crash involving a Polk County School Bus.

Several children were injured this afternoon during a crash involving a Polk County school bus, Haines City police said.
6 injured in Haines City school bus crash
Five children who were riding the school bus were taken to local hospitals for precautionary measures and minor injuries. The driver of the van was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
A school bus accident occured at the intersection of 30th Street and Hornet Drive at around 2:30 pm. Several children were taken to the hospital by ambulance or by parents as a precautionary measure. A second bus came to take the uninjured students home. The investigation is ongoing. Little information is currently available.
