In the evening, Arlia and two of her children were crossing a busy six-lane street when they were all struck by a car and injured. Arlia and her six-week-old baby are still in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, while her 5-year-old son Benjamin sustained serious injuries but is in stable condition. The driver that struck the group will likely not be charged, as the group was not crossing the street in a marked crosswalk.
