A HCSO spokesperson said one person died and two others were transported to a local hospital.

Arthur D. Showley was killed in the boating accident that left others hurt, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The 74-year-old Showley was from Indiana and a part-time resident of Ruskin.
