My son lost his father and two sisters lost their brother. Thank you for your sympathy as well as information..

This 21 year old Ave Washington was supposedly racing another vehicle down central ave n. running the red light at 58th st n. when Ave struck the thunderbird which then put his vehicle out of control hitting that innocent man. Everything I've read online is untrue. The thunderbird was simply driving thru a green light and unfortunately got hit by this young man racing someone.... so EVERYONE needs to get their facts straight because nobody obviously knows what they're talking about. There are many witnesses to this accident which WILL come out eventually. I am extremely sorry to the family of Mr. Rodgers and it was all an unbelievable accident that would've never happened if the young man was not racing and speeding down the road running a red light. So people of the internet, do not believe everything you read becuase they have the story completely backwards. Thank you
