A 41-year-old man died early Thursday after crashing his motorcycle as he attempted to negotiate an Interstate 275 onramp in Pinellas County, troopers said.
At 12:40 a.m. Thursday, Wesley Filson of St. Petersburg was entering the southbound lanes of I-275 from Roosevelt Boulevard when he failed to negotiate a right curve and drove onto a grass median, then overcorrected his 2008 Harley Davidson back onto the road and east shoulder, where the Harley overturned and he was thrown from the motorcycle.
