Fatal crash closes West Hillsborough Ave.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at West Hillsborough Ave and Double Branch Road.

Mariscal was thrown from his car and died at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler, Donald F. Zaccardi, 51, and two passengers, Donald Zaccardi, 71, and Dolores Zaccardi, 72, all of Tampa, were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with serious injuries.

Teen killed, three injured in Hillsborough Ave. crash

The car lost control, hit the median and went airborne, hitting another car when it landed. The driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Authorities identified him as 18-year-old Daniel Ernest Mariscal of Dunedin.
Mariscal was ejected and died at the scene of the crash, while three other victims were taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
