The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that involved a pedestrian and three vehicles on I-75 late Wednesday night.
The fatal collision occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on I-75, when Adrian Carlton Fedrick, Jr., 24, was traveling north in a pick-up truck towing a U-Haul trailer. when suddenly the trailer fell off the hitch. Fedrick stopped the truck and exited the vehicle when another driver on the road, 25-year-old Jessica Burgess, collided with Fedrick's disabled trailer, then a third driver, 29-year-old James Robert Connolly, struck Fedrick who was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
