5 Injured in Belle Glade crash

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue says a crash in the 2900 block of Conners Highway trapped some of the five occupants. Firefighters had to free some of the patients with the use of extrication tools.

The crash killed Rosa and sent four of her relatives to the hospital, including her 17-year-old son Chris…shown here in the hospital. The wife and mother of eight children was killed in a car crash 10 days ago. Rosa Herrera, 56, of Pahokee was the mother of those kids. We can’t believe that she’s gone, it’s very hard, we loved her very much,” said Berenice Herrera, Rosa’s daughter. According to the family, anyone wishing to help can contribute to the Rosa Herrera Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
