According to MARTA officials, the pedestrian exited the bus and was in the crosswalk when the accident occurred.

Police have identified the victim as Chekuri Gautam, 36, of Ocala, Florida.
The accident happened on Haynes Bridge Road, near Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta.
