One person suffers minor injuries, after a burglary call leads to a police pursuit and the suspect vehicle colliding with a SUV near Clarkston.

A police chase ended with a suspect crashing his vehicle in DeKalb County Tuesday afternoon.

According to a representative from DeKalb County police, authorities responded to a burglary-in-progress call in the 1000 block of Celtic Circle in Stone Mountain at 1:35 p.m.

When officers arrived, the suspect fled the scene, according to police.

Authorities said as the suspect attempted to pass an SUV making a left turn, the suspect T-boned the SUV and both vehicles overturned in the 4100 block of Church Street in Clarkston.

Authorities say they have the suspect in custody and recovered the stolen items.

The driver of the SUV had minor injuries.
