Katerin Metina, 19, and unborn child killed, others injured in two-car crash on Pleasant Hill Road and Venture Drive in Duluth, Georgia

Police say a pregnant woman and her unborn child have died after a horrific accident in Duluth on Saturday night. Gwinnett County Police say the accident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday near Pleasant Hill Road and Venture Drive. Katerin Metina, 19, was transported to an area hospital where she and her unborn child later died. Police say several other were injured in the accident, but their injuries were not released. Police say the driver of the car faces charges for Vehicular Homicide 2nd Degree, Feticide by Vehicle, and Failure to Yield while a Turning Left. The circumstances behind the crash were not immediately released.
