Three people were killed in the crash and four more were rushed to an area hospital, according to a spokesperson for the Georgia Department of Transportation.

According to Georgia State Patrol, a early-2000s Ford Explorer was traveling in the inside lanes of I-85 when it lost control suddenly and struck the concrete median wall. They said the SUV rolled over several times in the wreck, ejecting three people from the car. Those three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occured about 8:12 p.m. at northbound mile marker 56. A 2002 Ford Expedition traveling in the inside lane lost control and struck the median wall, overturning several times.

Kayla and Nikia's brother never got to say goodbye, but did have a chance to tell his sisters he loved them hours before the crash.

Columbus hair salon to hold fundraiser for I-85 crash victims
Hair Kinections Beauty Salon will be raising money on Friday to help with the funeral costs for 6-year-old Denyla Biggers, 33-year-old Kayla Wilson and 35-year-old Nikia Wilson, who died in an interstate wreck last Friday in Coweta County.
The fundraiser starts Friday, April 8 during normal operating hours from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
