Officer hits 2 pedestrians walking on sidewalk in Gwinnett County

 As he was traveling on Singleton Road, he left the roadway, traveled onto the curb, and struck two pedestrians on the sidewalk. 

Teen in serious condition after being hit by patrol car

News outlets report Gwinnett County Officer Scott York was traveling with his blue lights and siren activated on Sunday night when a vehicle he was passing began to merge in front of him. The officer lost control of his vehicle and hit two teens, two parked cars and a basketball goal.

UPDATE #3: Officer Involved Pedestrian Accident - Officer was Terminated - Former Officer Arrested

Former Officer Scott York (age 24) was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail at 9:44am this morning.  He was charged with Vehicular Homicide, Reckless Driving, and Too Fast for Conditions.
