One dead after car accident in North Augusta Posted: Updated: Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton has confirmed the fatality in Friday afternoon's two vehicle collision on I-20 East was 35 year-old-Melissa Lewis. Lewis was the passenger in a Chevy Blazer driven by her brother, Steven Boyd. Officials said Boyd hit a disabled box truck that was parked on the shoulder of the interstate. He was taken to the Shock Trauma Department of Georgia  Regents University Medical Center. His injuries were classified as non life threatening.
