Deadly Accident On Lookout Mountain In Dade County
Authorities in Dade County are working a serious accident on Burkhalter Gap Road at Creek Road.
A 1992 GMC pickup driven by 17-year-old Logan Chase Dodson of Lookout Mountain was southbound on Burkhalter Gap Road when for unknown reasons it ran off the road and struck a utility pole and a tree. Dodson was killed in the crash, and his passenger, Marcus Blake Shaw, 16, also of Lookout Mountain, was transported to Erlanger Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Both were students at Dade County High School.
