UPDATE: woman killed in traffic accident on MLK Jr Boulevard and Murray Street

Police tell us the first car that hit the woman, who's name has not been released, stopped on the scene but the second car did not.

Kassandra “Kassie” Hollinhead was hit by a car Saturday night[2] while crossing the road from the Citgo convenience store at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Murray Street. 

Fleeing driver charged with vehicular homicide in hit-and-run, police say

A 36-year-old woman has been charged with vehicular homicide in the Saturday night hit-and-run on Martin Luther King Boulevard, Columbus police said.  

Grandmother of hit-and-run victim: ‘I don’t hold malice in my heart’

On Saturday, she and other relatives will celebrate the young woman’s life with a memorial service at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, releasing doves in her memory. The service will begin at noon.
