Plane crashes into home on St. Simons Island

Agencies involved in responding to the incident were the Glynn County Police Department, the Glynn County Fire Department, the Glynn County Emergency Management Agency, the Glynn County and the Red Cross. Simons Island, according to a press release from Glynn County Airport Commission spokeswoman Leslie Faulkenberry. The commission stated that no agency will speculate on the cause of the crash until the FAA has conducted an investigation. At approximately 11:02 a.m. this morning a single engine Piper PA-32 aircraft crashed into a home located on the 200 block of Circle Drive on St. Two passengers were in the aircraft, and received minor injuries, the release stated.
