Driver killed in accident involving tractor trailer in Macon
Lt. Randy Gonzalez with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said a 2002 Freightliner Semi tractor trailer was traveling north on Broadway near the intersection at around 3:30 p.m. when it collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu traveling west on Eisenhower.

Just before 3:30 p.m., Gloria Holmes was headed west on Eisenhower in a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, and ran a red light as she was turning left into the path of a 2002 Freightliner tractor trailer heading north toward town on Broadway, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
