Coroner Leon Jones says 18-year-old Tyler Hart stepped out of his pickup truck along Knight Road to talk to friends. The report says 48-year-old Jason Ellis Partin was driving his pickup truck, hit a slight curve, crossed over into the opposite lane and hit the parked truck.
Man arrested after hitting, killing a teenager with his truck
Deputies say Partin was also taken to Atrium Health Navicent, the Medical Center to be treated for injuries during the collision. Once released, Partin was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with first degree vehicular homicide.
