Woman Killed in Decatur County Head-On Crash
According to Georgia State Patrol investigators, a small SUV was traveling in the southbound lanes of Highway 27 near Wautauga Road. They say the driver drifted into the median and overcorrected, ending up in the southbound lanes facing the wrong way. The SUV then crashed head-on into another vehicle. The driver of the SUV, 28-year-old Maria Hansford, was killed in the crash.
