Honolulu Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian in Waianae early Tuesday morning.

Francine Marshall-Wun, 47, driving a Nissan pick-up, was arrested in the area of the boat harbor and released pending investigation.

According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, the victim, a 58-year-old man, was found lying in the middle of the road.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he was then pronounced dead. The medical examiner has identified him as Robert Kapololu Jr. of Waianae.
The man was found lying in the middle of Farrington Highway at about 12:47 a.m. The man died at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center and a 47-year-old woman was arrested after witnesses described the vehicle involved. Police are currently investigating the crash.
