The driver of a 2003 Chevrolet MPV, a 26-year-old man from Honolulu, was traveling southbound on Likelike on a green light where he struck the pedestrian.

A pedestrian is in critical condition, suffering major head and internal injuries, after he was hit by a car on the Likelike Highway in Kalihi, Hawaii. The 34-year-old man was crossing Likelike Highway and Alu St. without a marked crosswalk and against a "no walking" signal around 9:59 p.m. on Saturday night. The driver was a 26-year-old man from Honolulu. The pedestrian was taken to Queen's Hospital in critical condition.
