4 dead after SUV plunges into Lucky Peak

Three bodies have been recovered from the wreck, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office. The body of the driver still remains in the underwater vehicle, about 40 feet below the surface.

Coroner identifies mom, children killed in Lucky Peak crash

The children attended East Junior High and Riverside Elementary, according to the principals of those schools.

Although the school year has ended, both schools are making counselors available at  East Junior High and Riverside Elementary between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday. Students do not need an appointment to speak with the counselors.

"We are in a state of deep grief over our loss," the Voermans and Bankhead families said via Bowman Funderal Homes. "We appreciate the community's prayers and support. We ask for privacy as we mourn."

Services set for Boise family who died in Lucky Peak crash

Services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at Calvary Chapel, Boise, under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor.
