Winters Wareagle, 23, killed in pedestrian collision with alleged driver Patrick Musgrove, 28, on Interstate 84 near Boise, Idaho

BOISE - A Garden City man died and a Meridian man was arrested for DUI and vehicular manslaughter after a car vs. pedestrian crash on Interstate 84 east of Boise early Sunday morning. Idaho State Police say 23-year-old Winters Wareagle, of Garden City, was driving east when his car broke down. He pulled over onto the shoulder and, as he got out of the car, was hit by a car driven by 28-year-old Patrick Musgrove, of Meridian. The crash happened just before 4 a.m. on I-84 near the Boise port of entry. Musgrove was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI and vehicular manslaughter.

BOISE -- A Boise State student is facing a charge of vehicular manslaughter after police say he struck and killed a broken-down motorist with his car early Sunday morning. Prosecutors say Musgrove has a prior DUI in California in 2009, and asked the judge to set a high bond. He was arrested and charged originally with aggravated DUI. That charge was changed to manslaughter Monday. Prosecutors said in court Monday afternoon that 28-year-old Patrick Randall Musgrove of Boise was drunk when his car hit a man who was having car trouble on I-84 east of Boise just before 4 a.m. Musgrove's blood alcohol content was measured at .148 after the wreck, well above Idaho's legal limit of .08.
