Idaho I-15 crash kills Utah man, injures woman and infant

Michael Havens, 38, of West Valley City, was a passenger in a GMC pickup truck being driven by 25-year-old Talysha Wing, also of West Valley City. Idaho State Police say a Utah man died in a rollover crash late Wednesday night on Interstate 15, just south of Inkom. But Havens, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, ISP said. Wing, who was wearing a seatbelt, and her two-month old child, who was in a child safety seat but unrestrained, survived with non-life threatening injuries. She is believed to have fallen asleep behind the wheel at 11:34 p.m., waking up as the vehicle drifted and then over-correcting.
