Two injured in crash on Illinois 29

Two people sustained non-life threatening injuries in a crash on Illinois 29 in Christian County Monday. Dennis D. Behrends, 59, of Kincaid, was heading west on Christian County Road E. 2050 N. about 2 p.m. He reportedly disobeyed a stop sign and pulled out into the path of a southbound vehicle on Illinois 29 driven by Diana K. Boshell, 44, of Taylorville, Illinois State Police said. Both drivers were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Citations are pending, state police said.
