Bicyclist Killed in New Year's Day Hit-And-Run

He had his family over at his house for a New Year's Eve celebration and dance party and was riding his bike to a nearby family member's home to see his daughters for New Year's, his niece Ibon Hernandez told NBC Chicago.
A bicyclist was fatally injured after a collision with a minivan in a hit-and run crash in Chicago early New Year’s Day. Aimer Robledo, 30, was riding a bike around 2:40 a.m. on West Division when he was hit by a dark-colored minivan which fled the scene, driving westbound on Division. Robledo was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Robledo, who had turned 30 just two weeks earlier, had 8-year-old and 9-year-old daughters.
