Police said a Jeep Patriot was driving the wrong way on the inbound lanes of the Skyway near 92nd Street when it hit a Dodge Caravan at about 9:40 p.m.

Gates, of the 3500-block of South Lake Park Avenue, was transported to Christ Hospital in critical condition, police said. He has been charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI and cited for driving the wrong way on a divided highway.
