One of the crashes happened around 1:15 a.m. in west suburban Forest Park. Illinois State Police said a 2004 Honda sedan was headed west in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 290 near Des Plaines Avenue, when it collided with a 2015 Infiniti sedan headed east.

In the Forest Park crash, a black 2004 Honda sedan was driving west in the eastbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway and hit a silver 2015 Infiniti sedan head-on, according to a state police news release.
