70-year-old woman dies after being struck by vehicle while mowing lawn
Upon arrival, sherriff's deputies learned that a 74-year-old male driver of a 2017 Ford truck was traveling west on North Dearborn Road when he ran off the right side and fatally struck the woman.

First responders were dispatched to the accident around 1:00 p.m. where the female was struck by a passenger vehicle while mowing her lawn.

A medical helicopter was called for at first, but the sheriff says they were called off.
The sheriff did not say if the driver of the vehicle was hurt.
