Authorities say a pedestrian was hit by a car on Koring Road in Vanderburgh County.

A person was struck by a car in the 2000 block of Koring Road at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday. They were taken to Deaconess Hospital in unknown condition. Koring road is shut down in the area surrounding the crash while authorities investigate.
