Investigators say the vehicle went airborne, struck a utility pole, flipping, then landed upside down.

James Hopper, 50, died at the scene. The crash occurred about 8:20 p.m., Warrick County Sheriff Brett Kruse said.
He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Tim Hale of Warrick County.
