According to police, the wheels of the tractor locked up for an unknown reason, pulling the tractor to the left and off of the south side of the roadway. As the tractor veered off the roadway, it overturned and rolled over Kuntz.
Tractor accident claims life of Fulda man
Kuntz, a SynEnergy propane delivery driver as well as a lifelong farmer, was pronounced deceased. He was a member of Saint Boniface Parish in Fulda. He and his wife, Karen (Flamion) Kuntz are the parents of one son and two daughters. Charles Kuntz also had four grandchildren.
Indiana State Police are on the scene of a fatal tractor accident in Spencer County northeast of Santa Claus. ISP say 60-year-old Charles W. Kuntz of Ferdinand was on County Road 1700 N. heading west when his tractor locked up due to unknown reason. They tell us that Kuntz was crushed when the tractor veered off the road and rolled over. The accident was reported on County Road 1700 N. Authorities say no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
