One person killed in I-70 traffic accident in Henry County

One person was killed and a second person seriously injured in a traffic accident on Interstate 70 early Saturday afternoon. Two vehicles were involved in a crash in the eastbound lane of I-70 in Henry County near Wilbur Wright Rd. The victims were flown by medical helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, according to Indiana State Police. Both eastbound lanes are closed at this hour, say state police. The accident happened about 1:00PM

Toddler killed, mother and son injured in I-70 crash in Henry County

Investigators say traffic heading eastbound had slowed to a stop on the interstate .  The driver of the pick-up, however, failed to get stopped and slammed into a car occupied by a 29 -year-old Anderson woman and her two young children.
