Officials are investigating a plane crash in Johnson County.

A small aircraft crashed in the area of County Line Road and North Combs Road, according to the Greenwood Police Department.

Dispatchers said at least two people were injured in the crash. Their injures are not life-threatening.

Police confirmed that a student pilot and an instructor were on board a single-engine Cessna when the plane began experiencing mechanical problems and crashed into a field.
