Indianapolis police investigating fatal hit-and-run crash on south side
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the city's south side — in the 7800 block of Madison Avenue — after the incident was reported about 1:30 a.m., according to an Indianapolis police report.
IMPD searches for car involved in fatal hit-and-run
IMPD says the male was traveling on a motor scooter when he was struck by another vehicle. He was then thrown from his bike as the other vehicle fled the scene.

On Monday IMPD said detectives were looking for a 2007-2010 Chrysler Sebring with front-end damage that they believe was involved in the fatal hit and run.
