One killed in crash involving Hancock County ambulance

The driver of an SUV died in a crash involving an ambulance in Hancock County Wednesday. The crash happened near the intersection of Mt. Comfort Road and CR 500 North around 4:30 p.m. A Buck Creek Township ambulance was responding with lights and sirens activated to another crash on Mt. Comfort Road when it was struck by an SUV traveling west on CR 500 North. The driver of the SUV was taken to Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, where they were pronounced dead. The driver's identity has not yet been released.
