Man dies after motorcycle, car crash in Lafayette

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Friday on McCarty Lane.

32-year-old Cory Hood of Lafayette was heading west on a motorcycle when a vehicle driven by 80-year-old Channing Blickenstaff drove into the path of the motorcycle, causing Hood to sustain severe injuries. Police say Hood was not wearing a helmet. Hood was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Blickenstaff was not injured.

People that old should not be allowed to drive..cory was too young to die..

That is manslaughter she was in a hurry too old to be driving not able to make good decisions. Now we lost a young man so close to our hearts. Think abt it there should be a new law the aged should not be able to drive they've lived their life. Its ashame!
