Marvin Rea, one of the most successful high school basketball coaches in Northwest Indiana, was killed in a multi-car accident Tuesday near Lafayette, Ind.
Police said the crash occurred when a semi-truck driven by Anthony J. Dick, 31, of Plainfield, Ind. apparently was distracted and did not see that traffic had come to a stop. This caused him to slam into the back of the box truck and set off a chain reaction of collisions.
