Man seriously hurt in fatal crash crawls from wreckage 3 days later
The sport utility vehicle went down an embankment, slammed into a tree head-on and instantly killed Reed, the front-seat passenger.
The vehicle was well off the road, and not visible, police said.
Due to Bell’s injuries to his legs, he wasn’t able to leave the vehicle and crawl back to the road until Tuesday night.

Police found Nikki K. Reed, 37, Seymour, inside the SUV, which was well off the roadway and not visible from the road. Reed, who was found in the passenger seat, had died from injuries she’d suffered in the wreck.
