Three children, ages 8, 6, and 2, critically injured in collision on Interstate 65 in Jackson County, Indiana

Officials say an investigation shows that a 2015 Kia Forte was traveling south on I-65 near the 38 mile marker when it slowed down for an unknown reason.

Investigators say a 2012 Dodge van traveling south swerved to avoid hitting the Kia Forte. The Dodge van was then hit in the rear by a 2004 Mercury.
