That's my niece

She was probably texting. Now she has a life on her conscience.

Wasn't texting good try tho

It's just better not to make assumptions

He was headed East, she was headed west. This happened in front of my house.

For the guy that said she was probably texting, please get your facts straight. This happened in front of my house. You can clearly see her brake marks where she tried to avoid him. He was on her side of the road. Apparently you don't have a conscience.

its strange you know so much about the accident you must been standing in the road when it happened

he was a loving father of 3 boys and a great husband that worshiped the ground they walked on and how do you know what happened just because it was in front of your house dosent mean you know how it happened or if anyone was at fault you are just guessing you dont know what really happened unless or psychic

Excuse me. I wasn't placing blame on anyone, in my original statement I was only correcting the report that said he was headed west. He had just passed by neighbor who was going home (west towards Salem). Read the statement released by Sheriff Meyer. I called the police, I stood by both cars until the police arrived, watched them cut the girl out and airlift her out of the cornfield, and the rest I'll keep to myself. I believe he may have been the man who helped save my house during a fire last year. And my condolences go out to both families.
