According to ISP, the preliminary investigation shows Davis may have been going too fast for the road conditions.
ISP releases identity of man killed in morning commute on I-65N in Clark Co.
Troopers were assisted by INDOT Hoosier Helpers, officers from the Sellersburg Fire Department, Sellersburg EMS and the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Davis was heading north on I-65 in a pickup truck when he departed the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. The collision occured at about 7:54am, and Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. Currently, police believe that Davis was driving too fast for the road conditions at the time, causing him to lose control.
