ISP: Intoxicated driver caught going 100+ mph after leaving scene of accident

An Indiana State Police Trooper was on U.S. 40 near County Road 425 West on Wednesday when a gray Pontiac Grand Prix was caught going 101 in a 55 mph zone. The Trooper attempted to make a traffic stop, but the Grand Prix continued east at a high rate of speed. Officials report this also forced other vehicles off the road. The Pontiac side-swiped another vehicle and spun out in the median near County Road 200 West. The driver, Patrick Ryan, Jr. – 55 of Brazil – was arrested at the scene.
