A weather related accident injured six in northern Vigo County on Thursday morning.
Officials report Amber Ramsey, 18 of Terre Haute, was traveling westbound on Devonald Avenue approaching the stop sign at Rosedale Road in a Mercury Sable.
Another vehicle, driven by a male juvenile from Terre Haute, was traveling southbound on Rosedale Road in a Chevrolet Blazer.
Ramsey, according to officials, was traveling too fast for the road conditions at that time and slid through the stop sign hitting the Blazer.
The Otter Creek Fire Department had to extricate a 17-year-old female passenger from Ramsey's Sable. She sustained hip and head injuries and is listed as in serious condition.
Ramsey was treated for head injuries.
The driver of the Blazer sustained shoulder injuries while two passengers sustained facial injuries and a third passenger sustained neck injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this accident.
