Two vehicle accident closes downtown intersection Thursday afternoon

Emergency workers responded to an accident Thursday afternoon at an intersection in downtown Terre Haute. The intersection at 4th and Walnut in was closed while they were checking people out and cleaning the accident up. Officials report two cars collided in the middle of the intersection. A witness told News 10 that a man driving the blue vehicle ran the red light and hit the maroon car.
