Someone was killed when a car and a semi-trailer collided on Ind. 213. Both the car and semi were found off of the roadway, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Check back for updates.
Robert and Ilea McDaniel of Berrien Springs, Michigan died after their car crashed into a van on State Road 10 near County Road 475 West in Newton County, Indiana. Five people in the van were brought to a hospital in Kankakee with non-life-threatening injuries.
16-year-old Antonia Young was walking with a friend on 34th Street and Franklin Road when she was struck by a black SUV. She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where she later died of her injuries. The friend was not hurt in the accident.
Frank D. Boggs was driving on Indiana 109 when he was involved in a two-car collision that killed him and left three people injured.
