A crash report states Kephart was riding a motorcycle southbound on Great River Road when it struck the school bus as that vehicle turned onto Lace Avenue.

Charlotte A. Scherer, 53, of Guttenberg, was cited Monday with failure to yield upon making a left turn, according to online court records.
