Morning Rollover Accident is Fatal

ANKENY, Iowa --  The Polk county sheriff's department is investigating a deadly crash that happened just before noon on Friday. Callers reported a single vehicle rollover accident. The female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. It happened at 6900 Northeast 29th Street in Ankeny. A young child who was a passenger was taken to a Des Moines Hospital.

The driver, 30-year-old Samantha Overton of Ankeny, was found dead at the scene. Overton’s 4-year-old son was taken to the hospital and is in good condition.
